The TireMoni TD-1800-X TPVMS with external sensors provides a lot more safety in comparison with „simple“ tyre pressure monitoring systems. In addition to monitoring tyre pressure and temperature the TD-1800-X also monitors vibrations, that may arise due to problems of the rim or tyre.
So the TPVMS can detect tyre and rim problems, which result in increased vibration of the sensor. Among those: Flat spots, deformation or cracks in the tyre profile or sidewall, too much imbalance, pick-up damage, damaged rim, etc. TPVMS warns the driver as soon as increased vibration is detected.
